A downloadable asset pack

This pack contains sprites of common fantasy RPG enemies. The style I went for is late 90s/ early 2000s turn-based RPGs. All sprites are hand-pixelled by me, and use the endesga32 palette.

Sprites:

  • skeleton warrior
  • slime
  • giant rat
  • goblin
  • snake

Details:

  • sprites in png format
  • conform to 48x48px grid (some sprites are two tiles tall)
  • come in original size plus blown up 2x
  • only still sprites, no animations

License:

  • you can use these assets for both non-commercial and commercial projects
  • you can modify the assets as needed
  • do not resell the assets, even if modified
  • please link to this page as credit

Also I have Ko-fi page if you wanna donate, thanks!

wow! Nicely done 🤩 I like this color palette - it suits the 90’s fantasy RPG style. And the details: double bones in the forearms of the skeleton, shaded hinter right leg of the rat, goblins muscles. I love it 😍.

Things to consider:

  • The snake’s tail is just behind its head, making it hard to distinguish the details of the fangs and the rest of the body (hood), perhaps it will look better if the tail was placed a bit lower.
  • The rat could use some whiskers
  • a slime, as a character, might use some eyes - otherwise, it can be mistaken for a pile of rocks

thanks for the feedback! i might go back to this pack in a while to add some more sprites, so i'll take some time to make cosmetic updates as well
