good shitpost games are extremely precious and this one is magnificent

yesss i was going through a phase back then, shitpost games were my life juice… definitely didnt lean as hard into shitposty as i could have but glad the intent came through

but how many leaves were there?

if you pay close attention at the end you will notice that the trees are actually made of pixelart and dont have leaves

when you and yoyo meet they both turn a new leaf in their lives so in that sense there is two leaves, but that doesnt count towards yoyo's sum total since at that point his trial has been concluded

Nice! Quite a treat. I guess a good thing about a small and simple game (and game engine) is that you can render your ideas quickly. I’m struggling with writing tools (for a month) around the base code, just to speed up the process of creating the actual game. It takes ages.

i think initially i did want to make a complete game engine, but then made it only 30% of the way and started making games with it. apparently you dont need tilesets, animations or combat system to make a game, all you need is a dream
